Dignity in practice
Community food projects such as our ‘Community Food Stop’ which takes place in Bonar Bridge Hall every week are becoming more and more popular across Scotland. Project Manager Beverley Hill, and volunteer Doris Calder were invited by the organisation Nourish Scotland, to form part of a peer mentor group along with some other community food organisations from across Scotland. This involved producing a resource that will help other community food initiatives to support and involve their volunteers in delivering the Dignity Principles. Beverley and Doris will attend the launch of the Dignity in Practice Volunteering. . .
