Up to £6,000 per year for three years to build a career in their community

The Kyle of Sutherland Apprenticeship Scheme, which was established by the local community in 2010 with funding from SSE’s Achany windfarm, supports local apprenticeships across Creich, Ardgay and Lairg. The apprenticeship funding covers costs such as training, travel and employer costs. This has been a fantastic way to help young people in the area, learning trades that benefit both the young people, local businesses and the wider community.
