Children’s Art competition winner

This week we announced the winners of the Children’s Art Competition. Pupils from Bonar Bridge, Gledfield and Rosehall primary schools took part in a competition back in October, to find the name and the artwork for the masthead of the children’s magazine inside the Kyle Chronicle.

The winner is Alistair Tripney, from Gledfield Primary School, with Kids’ Chronicle. Congratulations! Alistair won a fabulous art box.

The second prize was for Millie Grant (Kyle Kids) , and the third prize was for Marie Munro (The Bonar Bridge), both from Bonar Bridge Primary School.

A panel of local artists, Louise Worthy, Doreen Bruce and Angela Chalmers, alongside Kyle Chronicle Editor Silvia Muras were the judges of the competition.

We are looking forward to seeing the children’s contributions for the first Kids’ Chronicle!
