The final events of this year’s programme were led by Marcia O’Hara, High Life Highland countryside Ranger and proved very popular.

In September we met for a ‘Fungi Foray’. During our wander around the wood Marcia shared with us the basics of identifying fungi by looking at a variety of characteristics – smell, colour, gill structure etc and 15 species were identified, ranging from well known Chanterelle to much more sinister. . .
