It was my pleasure to be part of the celebrations in and around the Kyle of Sutherland for the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Many events took place over the holiday weekend uniting families, neighbours, and friends to mark this special occasion. In Sutherland all primary school children were invited to create artworks with the theme being “Nature in Sutherland” or “The Crown in Scotland.” This was a great success with all schools taking part making the judging very difficult as the entries were of a high standard.
