One significant local development has been the transition of the Creich Locality Group to become the Kyle of Sutherland Locality Group. This has been achieved as a result of the success of bringing communities together to work on the Kyle of Sutherland Community Resilience Plan. The group has agreed to continue woking together on projects covering the Creich and Ardgay & District Community Council areas.
