This dramatic shot shows in the horizon the distinctive silhouettes of Ben More Assynt (centre) and Cùl Mòr (left). Ben More Assynt, in the Creich CC area, is the highest summit of Sutherland, reaching 998 m (3,274 feet). Its name simply means “big mountain of Assynt”. The twin summited Cùl Mòr, in Ullapool, is 849 metres (2,785 feet) and its name translates as “big back”.
