Crofting, a land tenure unique to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, has played a central role in our communities, shaping both the local calendar and landscape. With crofting now in decline, we learn about some of the wildlife it sustains. Our hall committees need more volunteers, would you be able to help? A huge congratulations to the Bradbury Centre which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary; we take the opportunity to remember those who pushed the project forward back in the day.
