Great article, note George William Sutherland was my stepfather who died in Cumberland Berbice a short distance from the Rosehall Estate. He has several children who are living in the US and Canada. My brother who is his last off spring died last April in New York

Very interesting. My paternal grandparents, who have passed on,were raised in Rosehall, Berbice. I am interested in the name Ault : my paternal grandmother’s maiden name.
What is known about Milne and Faulkner in this region specifically Rose Hall Estate, East Canje, not Rose Hall Town Courentyne.
