Ardgay- Bonar straight
At the last meeting of the Sutherland County Committee, our councillors agreed to the recommendation from the Roads Dept that the speed limit on the A836 Ardgay- Bonar straight should be reduced to 50mph, with the 30mph limit to be extended beyond Ardgay Game at the Bonar end of the straight. This is not what Ardgay CC had been campaigning for over the last four years – we had wanted a 30mph limit over the whole length, failing that 40mph.
