The projected new 400kV overhead line is likely to pass through several communities in the Kyle of Sutherland, affecting Ardgay & District and Creich Community Council areas.
At a public event in Bonar Bridge Community Hall on 27th February, Scottish and Southern Electricity Network (SSEN) presented their plans for New Spittal - Loch Buidhe - Beauly 400kV Reinforcement. The exhibition included all parts of the project showing 1km-wide corridors, divided in different sections: A (Spittal to Brora), B (Brora to Golspie), C (West of Dornoch), D (Dornoch to Dingwall), and E, (Dingwall to Beauly), to connect new substations in. . .
