Royal British Legion Scotland Creich & Kincardine, with Lairg & Rogart Branch made a good showing with poppy wreaths and much respect.
Rev Darwin Smith, from Quincy, Illinois, led worship at Ardgay & Bonar Bridge War Memorials, Rev Hilary Gardiner at Lairg War Memorial, Rev Greer Johnstone at Rogart War Memorial, and Lt Colonel Colin Gilmore DL MBE at Rosehall War Memorial. Sad sign of the times, that very few of us RBLS Members were able enough to march in parade fashion, but did attend worship. The branch would like to say a big thank you to all of our communities for their support at our Acts of Remembrance on Sunday 14th of November 2021, and particularly to Mrs Christine MacKay, Deputy Lieutenant of Sutherland, our pipers Leanne & Gillian, and Kyle of Sutherland Joggers. We will always welcome new members from those who have served, their families, and anyone who shares an interest in the future of the Royal British Legion Scotland.
