Scottish Wildcat kittens born at Alladale

Alladale is very proud to announce the birth of three Scottish Wildcat kittens.

For the third year in a row, the cats at Alladale which are part of the Royal Zoological Society Scotland’s Scottish Wildcat captive breeding programme, have produced a litter of this critically endangered species. In time, the kittens will be relocated to other facilities within the programme and play their part in saving the species from extinction. RZSS is currently building a Wildcat Centre in the Highland Wildlife park near Aviemore, and it hopes to release the first wildcats into the Cairngorms by 2022.
