SSE Renewables invests over £300k in the Kyle of Sutherland and Lairg communities in 2020/21

In 2020/21, over £300,000 has been invested across the Ardgay & District, Creich and Lairg communities from the Achany Wind Farm Community Fund – bringing the total value of projects supported to £1,464,319 since the fund was established in 2010.

In addition, the fund delivers an apprenticeship scheme as part of its efforts to ensure wide ranging and long-lasting local impact. To date, the Kyle of Sutherland Apprenticeship Scheme has supported 26 apprentices in 18 businesses. . .
