After a very uncertain 6 months, we are delighted to be able to bring back some of our much-needed services to the community.
Over the last few weeks, we have had lots of fun with some fantastic sessions, including Crafty Café, pre-school fitness / crafts, primary fitness, Youth Cafés and adults / children’s Boogie bounce. These activities have been made possible due to our ability to purchase a fantastic new marquee that has served to provide the much needed additional space to future proof the Hub for us all to enjoy even in these difficult times where social distancing is required.
Our gym users will be excited to hear that the gym will re-open on Monday 31st August. We have strict procedures in place to allow this to happen safely. However, we do understand that people are nervous of coming out again and would like to reassure you that we are following all government guidelines in everything we are doing. Also, extensive sanitising procedures are in place along with Track and Trace.
At the time of writing this, government guidance on Soft play is to be reviewed on 14th September – fingers crossed this can happen at this time.
Now that the schools are back, we will have regular Boogie Bounce sessions for primary school children. Our Crafty Café will be on at the weekends, these have been a great hit with children and parents. Our activities programme will change fortnightly so please keep an eye on our Facebook page. Thank you to everyone that has come along and supported us during these difficult times, we hope to see more of you soon.
